Located between the Tropenmuseum and the Amsterdam City Zoo Artis, on the outskirts of the town you will find restaurant Elkaar. 

Our spacious terrace overlooking the old city gate, is a unique place for an extended lunch or romantic dinner. At Elkaar is a cozy and informal atmosphere that is enhanced by the changing exhibitions of various contemporary artists. At stylish table settings, you can enjoy our French-Mediterranean à la carte or one of our changing menus.
Just three months after its opening in November 2005, Johannes van Dam gave Elkaar a 9 + in his thesis. Not long after the restaurant received a Michelin Bib Gourmand nomination.
