Since 1996 Restaurant Cheval Blanc* is located in the Jan van Goyenstraat in Heemstede, a small shopping street between Heemsteedse Dreef and the border with Haarlem-Zuid. Since 2007 Cheval Blanc has a Michelin star and this acclaimed restaurant with 14 Gault&Millau points knows exactly how to treat its guests.

The restaurant is named after the famous wine house from the St-Emillion in the Bordeaux region: Château Cheval Blanc, known for its excellent Grand Cru's.

Owner and host Ton Nelissen and his team use a formula where hospitality and service are paramount. Whether it's a festive dinner, an informal business meeting or 'just a good meal together', the Cheval Blanc* team provides tailor-made service.

Chef Huub van der Velden spares no effort to offer you a top culinary experience. His team is ambitious and they are well attuned to each other. Huub van der Velden is an artist with his own style and taste: a good product and well thought-out trimmings guarantee quality. So beautiful that the modern creations are, so profound are the flavours.

The team is inspired by seasonal products and forgotten vegetables. Every dish is prepared with care and love, which results in surprising creative variations on classics and ultimately delicious dishes.
